On Wednesday, Mr. Sims’s Criminal Justice Class had a surprise visit from Chief David Laxton. Before Christmas break, while at law day at Roane County High School he was asking about the class and Mr. Sims advised him that one of his classes had researched and written letters asking for a patch that could be displayed in the classroom. Chief Laxton brought in 36 patches to help expand their collection. These patches are displayed to show respect, honor, and the history of law enforcement departments not only locally but also nationally. We greatly appreciate the generosity and want to say Thank You!
