Testa Art Piece

We are proud to announce that nine talented students from our school were recognized at the annual East Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition, an event dedicated to showcasing outstanding student artwork throughout the region.

This year’s honorees include Olivia Torres, Emily Mallozzi, Eva Blankenship, Ava Jane Sandoval, Nicolas Gouge, Madilynn Barnard, Suzannah Pherson, Nayumi Rei Testa, and Lesi Smith. Each of these students demonstrated exceptional artistic achievement, reflecting the remarkable breadth and depth of talent within our art program.

Among the awards presented, Nayumi Rei Testa received the prestigious $500 Best in Show Award, which is the exhibition’s highest honor. This award recognizes the most outstanding piece in the entire show, and Nayumi’s work stood out for its technical excellence, originality, and expressive power. Additionally, Suzannah Pherson earned third place in her grade level for her creative and innovative approach.

Our art educator, Natascha Hudson, was also celebrated with a $100 Educator Award, recognizing her dedicated support and encouragement of these gifted students.

The artwork will be on display at Knoxville Museum of Art from November 28, 2025 - January 11, 2026.
