A Gay-Straight Alliance is a student-directed club that provides a safe, accepting environment for both LGBTQ+ and straight students to discuss issues and work together. The club is open to any student—gay, straight, and everyone in between—and focuses on acceptance and community.

Throughout the year, the club will work to…

• Promote a more inclusive learning environment for all students.

• Reduce harassment or bullying, especially when related to a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

• Provide a safe place to discuss issues relating to the LGBTQ+ experience.

• Empower students to become leaders and role models within their school community.

The club advisor is Ms. Parrish, and meetings are held in the Library with snacks every other Friday afternoon.
