About Me

Hello!  My name is Shannon Weaver.  I am from Cleveland, TN.  I graduated from Cleveland High School in 2000.
I attended Tennessee Tech and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2004.   I then attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and earned a Master's degree in Environmental Science. During my time at UTC I worked with the American Chestnut Foundation.  I always enjoyed learning new things and creating new experiences in my life.  After my time working here, I then decided I would love to try teaching high school.  Each day lends itself to a new experience!
I have been teaching for ten years.  This is my second year teaching agricultural sciences.  I now teach Agriscience, Applied Environmental Science, Plant and Soil Science, and Natural Resource Management.
I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, camping, and running.  I enjoy spending time with my family!  My husband's name is Michael and I have two daughters, Aspen Taylor and Caroline.
I also love teaching and being able to incorporate experiences into the classroom daily.  I also sponsor FFA in which I look forward to another wonderful year!  Our Kingston FFA was able to compete in many regional and state competitions last year.  Please consider joining the agriculture classes and Kingston FFA!
