Announcements for Students:

Students if you are absent or check out or in during a day, you MUST come in the next morning before class or it will be counted as an UNEXCUSED TARDY!!!!

Any Student who takes the property of another person (backpacks, gym bags, purses, etc.) with the intent to taunt / tease, horseplay or harass will be suspended to MEC.

As discussed at the beginning of the school year- Cell phones are NOT to be used from the moment students arrive on campus via bus or car until the moment the exit the building at 3:25.

As you know warmer weather is here…….Please remember shorts have to touch the top of the knee.

Anyone interested in Cross Country for next year see Coach Monroe before the end of the school year.

Anyone wanting to buy a band card for $10.00 ask a band student or come by the old band room during 3rd period to 1st lunch.

Freshman attending the field trip on Wednesday need to check in with their first period teacher and wait for an announcement to leave.
Seniors who think they have not been absent a full day during their 4 years in high school please see Ms. Davis in the main office.

All students taking AP Calculus next year needs to meet in Mr. Smith’s room on Thursday, May 10th at 8:00.

Scrimmage Football Game against Webb School – Friday, May 11th @ 6:00pm.

Anyone interested in being a football manager needs to see Coach Harrison as soon as   possible.

There will be a 50% off book fair on May 8th and May  9th in the library.  ( Not the    auditorium)

Judy and Stanley Wassom Memorial Scholarship application is due today.

Student Council meeting Monday the 7th at 8am in the auditorium.

Please support your favorite teacher’s pet.  Contest ends May 11th.

The Drama Club/Theater class will present an original play by Noah Raymer called Jerk of the Century on Thursday May 10th at 6:30 in the auditorium.  We will also show 2 original films and have skits.  Pre-sale tickets are $2 and the night of the play it will be $3.  Students can buy tickets next week during lunch or come by Mr. Burts room 106.

Mandatory play practice will be held Monday through Thursday next week after school until 5pm in Mr. Burts room 106.  Thanks.

Shutterbugs will not meet this week.  We will meet Tuesday afternoon next week, May 15.

Anyone planning on getting their permit this summer needs to come by the office to get your school attendance report.

There will a meeting for all students registered for AP Biology next year on Wednesday   morning at 8 am in Mrs. Gaugler’s room.

Check out the HOSA Community Awareness Team Thurs. @ 5:30 on WATE.  Erica Estep is doing a segment on their topic “Teen Suicide”.

Any student living Out of District needs to come get a form from the office or next year.
