Guidance News — Scholarship Information — Simply Smart Scholarship

SIMPLY SMART Scholarship

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union Foundation for Education was established to broaden the effort of bringing together members, employees and the community to enrich the lives of others. The Foundation promotes local community development by funding projects in the education realm including scholarships to high school graduates and community inancial education programs.

One SIMPLY SMART Scholarship will be given to every public high school in Blount, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier and Sullivan Counties as well as Johnson City. Unlike many scholarships which consider only academic achievement or financial need, the SIMPLY SMART Scholarship seeks well-rounded students with a strong desire to learn, who have contributed to their communities and might be excluded from traditional programs. SIMPLY SMART Scholarships can be applied to in-state or out-of-state two or four-year public or private colleges or universities, as well as trade schools and other continuing education programs.
