Guidance News — Oak Ridge Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship

The Oak Ridge Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (ORAC DST) is a non-profit organization comprised of college educated women committed to public service.

The Sorority was founded on the campus of Howard University, Washington, DC in 1913 by 22 female students and has grown to over 250,000 members.

Through the Scholarship Program, the ORAC seeks to help increase the number of African American females attending college.

In doing so, we help individuals reach their goals and our nation address a critical need of creating and maintaining a more diverse workforce for the 21st century to remain leaders in all areas of the world market.

Girls’ Soccer News — All Region Team

Amanda Riggs, Alex Hartley and Hailey Caldwell were rewarded for their hard work this season and chosen by the coaches as 1st Team All-Region members.

Beta Club — KES and CMS Christmas News

We’d like to bring attention to how wonderful the Beta Club contributions were to the KES and CMS Christmas kids. We have some AMAZING students at RCHS! These students went above and beyond in their generosity!
We are still collecting canned food items for Hands of Mercy of Kingston. We will continue taking donations through February.

DECA — An Association of Marketing Students — News

DECA will be competing at the District 5 competition on February 9 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Winners will advance to the state competition in March in Nashville, TN.  The state winners will compete at the International DECA Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah the last weekend in April.

FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America

A quarter of a million high school and middle school students, college and university students, faculty, educators, administrators, and business professionals have chosen to be members of the premier business education association preparing students for careers in business.

If you are interested in developing leadership, communication, and team skills, or simply looking for an organization to meet and network with others at the local, state and national levels, then FBLA is the organization for you.

FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America – will be in Regional competition February 10 at Roane State and in State competition from April 15 – 18 in Chattanooga.

Wrestling News — Catholic Invitational

Josh Bain took 3rd place at the Catholic Invitational.  This is a very prestigious tournament with teams from all over the southeast participating.  Congratulations Josh!

Girls’ Soccer News — All District Teams

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer Team for their good season.

The team finished 14 – 6.

The team was District Tournament Runner-Ups.

Amanda Riggs, Alex Hartley, and Hailey Caldwell were selected First Team All-District.

Allison Rich and Michaela Grubb were selected Second Team All-District.
