About Teacher

I graduated from Roane County High School in 1979. Following graduation, I attended Roane State Community College on a basketball scholarship and graduated with an Associate's degree in 1981. After RSCC, I received a basketball scholarship to Berry College and graduated from there in 1984 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. From 1984-1986, I served as a graduate assistant coach for the women's basketball team at the University of Georgia and completed my Master's degree in 1986 in Education. I taught and coached at the collegiate level for 14 years. I am beginning my 15th year at the high school level and my 8th at my alma mater. I teach Special Education at RCHS (Comprehensive Developmental Classroom) and love every minute teaching these students. I coach the girls' basketball team and coached golf for 6 years. I am also the faculty sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Club. I am a member of First Baptist Church Kingston. I love spending time with my family and I enjoy most sports, especially being outside.
